Lalita Ponnekanti

Lalita is a versatile leader with over 17 years of operations, sales, product marketing, communications, strategy, and business transformation experience. In her current role, she has accountability for leading cross-functional and high-impact programs that support business growth and engagement. These span strategic customer engagement, program management and best practices, and chief of staff functions. Prior to Sabre, Ponnekanti was a senior Chemical Engineer at ALZA Corporation (Johnson & Johnson Medical). She managed a team focused on quality, process control and aseptic manufacturing resulting in a successful product launch for an implantable medical device. Her previous role at Rochester Midland focused on technical sales and being a liaison to Food and Agriculture Canada. Ponnekanti earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Toronto in Canada. She also completed a master’s degree in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Ponnekanti enjoys travel, cooking, and watching movies. She most enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and extended family and friends.
