Productathon edition 1 (Park Inn by Radisson)

by AS

Explore the PM role and go through the entire PM lifecycle by working on case studies!

TThere are two editions of this workshop - on 21st and 24th of October. You can take part in both, as there will be different case studies analyzed and different tools presented. The format of the workshop has a very hands-on approach and will give you a chance to work on real-life examples. As engineers have hackatons, Product Managers now have an opportunity for a Productathon.

What is the workshop about?

Product Management is a leadership role. The job demands that you are effective in moving the team forward from the outset. The challenge is that there are several skills you should be good at and be able to the right balance of these skills to be effective.
In 20 years of working with and being a Product Manager, Arjun's experience is that most people who want to transition to PM don’t lack the skills. Instead, what they lack is real-world problem-solving experience, and the ability to frame that experience in a way that’s a no-brainer for hiring managers.

During the Productathon we walk through the entire PM lifecycle in a short amount of time working on real-world challenges faced by leading product companies. This integrated format of real-world challenges and a sprinkling of key skills allows people to bring to the fore their latent skills and become more confident about doing the PM job.
