A South African currently based in Warsaw, Poland with a National Diploma in Fine Arts, B.Sc in Computer Science.
Werner started his career as a developer. He soon discovered that lines of code are not that exciting as the human side of the technology, so he decided to redirect his career path into User Experience Design, Digital Strategy, and Service Design. Since then, he has successfully carried out big corporate clients’ projects in that area.
Werner Puchert has worked in the Marketing & Advertising, Experience Design, and Consultancy industries since 2004 as a digital specialist. Starting his 'digital' journey as a developer and expanding his focus to human interaction, he found a niche in Digital Creative, Experience Strategy, and Design Thinking. Werner has led and defined integrated digital campaigns, design thinking & design sprint workshops, digital strategies, and experience design solutions for many brands, including Deloitte, Standard Bank, Telkom, MMI, Clicks, Steers, IEC, MARS, Nissan, McDonalds, SABC, VISA, Neotel and Tiger Brands in South Africa and the broader African continent.
